Type: 5. Frequency — While the term parking stall is used in other countries, it is overwhelmingly dominant in Canada (see Chart 1). The term is specifically favoured in Alberta and is used far more frequently there than in any other province or territory (see Chart 2). This finding only roughly corresponds to the term's entry in the COD-2 where it is marked "Cdn (West) and US".
